We can also now see underwater features. I was able to see the seabed between the coast and Catalina Island. I was able to import the seabed data into Civil 3D 2009 and the image was draped on the surface as expected.

The new features in Version 5 are incredible. I was playing with the "timeline" last night, and was blown away.
One cool thing I found is that you can import multiple images into C3D from different timelines! Want to see how your current day linework overlays on both new and old images? Easy to do!
The images come in on your current layer, so make sure to create a 2nd layer for your 2nd image.
Thanks for the tip Justin. Bringing is multiple images on different layers can be very useful. That along with Civil 3D's "Drape Image..." on Surface command we can get lots of looks quickly.
